Oy yoi yoi yoi yoi!
The Convention went terrific, and I hope that this weekend, I'll have a copy of a mega-jam comic I participated it (or from some people's perspective, controlled, managed, or hijacked!). I need to grab a copy from Barb (Schulz), and I'll either post it here (probably not), or on the website (under the comic section).
As for the convention itself: I made out pretty well, and probably made the most in terms of profit (+$40). There was a lot of people, and a lot of commeradery, and trading of mini-comics was prevelant. Some of my favorities were by Evan Palmer (google him!), and Renny Kissling (known on the internet as Reynoldbot).
I've begun to prepare my promotional postcard. I'm sending out postcards to publishers, companies, and corporations, and using the balance of them to promote my senior show around town (libraries, coffeshops, liquor stores, resturaunts, comic shops, bookstores, etc.) It's gonna be fun.
I have THREE more pages to ink, then FIVE pages to letter, then I can colour it! Groan...
Here's a video I like. I haven't posted a video for a while!
I saw the live-action Chipmunk's movie, and throughly enjoyed it, even though I set out to hate it. It won me over with the very first song sung, an acapella version of Dan Powder's "Bad Day." Even so, here's the classics. Don't screw with the classics!
