So, by hook and crook and the blood and sweat of my brow, I have earned my BFA degree in Comic Art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
- Insert cliche'd comment about entering the real world and how difficult it's gonna be-
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been working at Hollywood like a dog, tying up loose ends at MCAD, putting up the show, and in general, relaxing as much as I can, because come Wednesday, I'm working the summer at Valleyfair as a caricature artist. It's gonna be fun on the bun.
Graduation itself was a blast. The ceremony was entertaining and didn't drag, and I didn't make an ass out of myself! I'm going to miss going to MCAD regularly, but I'm excited about my future. I'll be working on promoting myself and getting some sort of regular job this summer in tandem with Valleyfair.
Tonight, I'm shaving my beard off. I've gotten so close to this one, and it's going to be tough removing it. I look strange without one. Oh well, a sacrifice to be made if I want to earn money at VF... I also got a dentist appointment tomorrow, and to kill two birds with one stone, I'm heading to VF to get my papers and I.D. made. I hope to relax in the evening, perhaps hang with Matt and discuss a promo postcard for a bass performance he's doing in the fall.
TTFN!
